Dishwasher

My dishwasher continuously runs once it is started.  Like 3+ hours.
Has anyone else ever had this problem? 

Or does my dishwasher just want to see if it can run my water bill up?

I guess at least my dishes are squeaky clean and sanitized.

    Hmm that doesn't sound normal to me. I'd look further into that!
